What the official terms say

We checked Bitget’s Terms of Use on 18 October 2026. The document, last updated on 16 October, names Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan as prohibited countries. Its definition of a restricted person includes residents of those countries; the account-registration eligibility rules exclude restricted persons.

This is an account-level residence restriction. Opening a website or seeing a registration form does not override it. The document’s update date does not establish when the restriction first took effect for a particular customer.

What changed in Trade by Country

For new clients residing in Russia and Belarus, the Bitget crypto record changed from access unconfirmed to unavailable. Kazakhstan was already excluded for the tracked crypto products. The current review covers spot, derivatives including futures, margin, Earn and staking.

We also removed the previous Stock+ admission route for Russia and Belarus. Bitget’s Stock+ FAQ describes it as a sub-account under the main Bitget account. The main-account restriction therefore also prevents a new Stock+ route in all three countries. Applying that account restriction to tracked securities products does not establish that every instrument is offered.

Scope of this update

These decisions concern new account opening. They do not determine the operational state of an existing customer’s account or set a common withdrawal deadline. Existing customers need the terms and any instructions applicable to their own account.

The directory links below show our current country assessment. This dated article records what was verified on 18 October; later changes will retain their own dates and sources.
